Coming off of a recent Achilles rupture is bad news for NFL players. Data tells us the first post-injury season is the most affected, with multiple studies pointing to lower performance and game participation. These numbers do tend to bounce back somewhere between the second and third year, so we can expect Odeyingbo to ultimately experience a good outcome. Just less likely to have it in 2021.
